I believe that children give us clues to their personality even before they are born. Some babies are active others are more still. Some are born screaming and others are quiet. My oldest, once she finally decided to start breathing, started screaming. That lasted until, well she’s still loud. My youngest is a bit more subtle with her emotions but she has always managed to express herself in her own way. This picture was taken just a few hours after she was born. I think she let us all know exactly what she was thinking.

Gotta love that baby angst.
What a cute picture! But, your anonymity is totally busted now? I thought you were an anonymous blogger, missy ma’am!
I truly hope Bean is placid and a good sleeper. So far he moves mainly at night though, which can’t be a good sign. He has a little disco party between 2 and 5am, every night.
Whit – You’d have to know her. There’s no angst there. It a cool collected F-You I have enough of this, now I’m gonna take a nap.
Amelia – I don’t think anyone that doesn’t already know me would recognize me now from that picture. It doesn’t matter anyways.
Bean will probably stay like that for awhile. It won’t matter. There is no concept of day and night with a newborn in the house. You just sleep when you can and keep in mind it won’t last forever.
I second that – it won’t last forever. It will just FEEL like it’s lasting forever! But by 2, 2-1/2 years, he’ll be sleeping like a champ.
