I’m going to keep this post short and sweet. Kinda like me if you believe what they say. I know I’m supposed to reflect on the past year, make resolutions for the new one, and eat black-eyed pea and cabbage, but I don’t do that. Except the peas and cabbage part. I like black-eyed peas and cabbage, just not mixed together. That would be gross.
I think I tried the reflection and resolution part when I was younger but I quit. There are deaths and births, gains and losses, ups and downs. Each of these things can change how you live and how you view the world. I am not the same person today I was on New Years day last year. I’ve had 365 days of life since then. This year I get 366. I don’t expect each one to be wonderful and I refuse to let them all be terrible. I’ll just keep doing things the best way I know how and hope everyone forgets when I screw up. Unless it’s really funny, then we can laugh about it.
I think I’m starting to reflect now so I’ll stop. I’m anxious to figure out who I’ll be on this day next year and I’m looking forward to reading the stories that will make you the person you’ll become. I wish you nothing but the best.
Have a wonderful 2008!

I think I could come up with a black eyed pea and something mix that would be good wrapped in cabbage leaves and maybe steamed that would not be gross. Maybe something sausage like with those peas

I don’t think I’ve ever made a resolution. You can’t build on this.
Happy New Year.
