flood Holy Freakin’ Noah! picture me in a blog post

Anyone have a link to plans for an ark? This is my back yard. The kids are loving it. Luckily my basement isn’t flooded. Mainly due to the fact I don’t have a basement. It was amazing how much rain came out of the sky today. All within an hour or two. It looks like it’s over with now.

Can anyone tell me how much my property value increases now that I’m water front?

  • It’s mostly dry out there now. Sorry Kuntry no fishin’ in my yard. You are more than welcome to stop by though.

  • sw-eeet! release the bass! release the crappies! ah’m a comin’ over to go fishin’ in your yard! hahahahaha!
did you get to paddle in a float? you can plant some lovely weeping willows-they looooove water! so does sweet gum trees!

OH NO I hope it goes down. We had so much rain the other day that water was standing in the ditches but we only get water in the very back of the yard by the field and it goes down pretty quickly thank god

  • we usually get a little puddle in the back corner. I think it rained so much so quickly that it couldn’t soak in to the ground like it usually does. We don’t live too far from the river and I think it drains underground.

Were mostly dry now, but the back yard looks terrible. Everything is covered with red clay mud. Yuck.

  • Why we live on a big ridge away from water and steep hills!

We are just in a tree branch broken mud pit…seriously, our yard is horrible now.

That’s what our yard did last winter and spring. I spent all summer landscaping the yard so that it would drain off into our neighbor’s yard… No, just kidding. Actually, it now drains off toward the street. No more lake off our patio!
