		<description>Jennifer, Thanks for the great post to link to!  It explains the problems with blog rolls very well.  I knew exactly what you were talking about.

The only problem with sharing items is the links don&#039;t show up in technorati.  I think a lot of people like to have the link count.  I&#039;ve been trying to do occassional thank you posts where I link to some of the people I&#039;ve shared items from.   I&#039;ve been having a lot of fun with those and I think they&#039;re more meaningful than just a link in a blog roll.

Social blogging is very complicated...but fun!</description>
