RTK killed the meme. Not only does he have poor humor judgement, he’s also a bad tag. Doesn’t have much going for him. Poor guy. I might have to revoke his tag and tag someone more responsible. Any suggestions?

The way I understand it, a meme is an idea or social norm that moves from person to person until it is a common idea and no one know where it started. Kinda like Americans put ketchup on french fries. :)

In the world of the blog a meme is a list of questions that someone (and, in this case, I’m not saying who!) started and it is passed from blog to blog with the ideal that at some point in time every blog in the know universe will have participated in the meme.

Oh My. I put up a post about a blogger I would never make into a joke, because I respect him, and when I come back I find finger pointing, name calling, and improper sentence structures! I can’t believe it. OK, so I can.

To answer your question Rattling The Kettle, all of your blogging transgressions will be absolved the minute you post your MeMe.

As for ending your sentences with with, you are on my blog. You can end your sentences with anything you want to end them with. You can place, commas, at, random or withhold them as you choose it’s your choice. I am not a grammer bigot. You do not even have to spell grammar correctly. I am all for the stream of consciousness writing and will appreciate your efforts regardless of what you end your sentences with. Or, how you end your sentences. Who am I to judge a future Joyce, Faulkner, or Python? Whatever works for you. I am very open minded like that.

How sad and tacky that I am the first to comment, but this may very well be the crowning achievement of your blogging career and I could not let it go unappreciated.

It’s funny that this meme started, and possibly still is, a joke about me, and while I have given more than ample fuel for people to light me up, I am constantly surprised by the thought and kindness that people express.

It’s touching, not in a “don’t tell my wife” sort of way, but in a “I cry every time I watch Rudy” fashion.
